Tripoli, June 13, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity strongly condemned the Israeli airstrikes that targeted Iran at dawn today.

The ministry said in a statement that these airstrikes constitute "a flagrant violation of Iran's sovereignty and a violation of the rules and principles of international law and the United Nations Charter."

The ministry called for an immediate halt to this dangerous escalation, given its threat to regional and international peace and security.

The ministry stressed that these attacks target efforts to maintain stability in the region and the world.

The ministry expressed its full support for these efforts and urged regional and international parties to redouble their efforts to resolve the conflict and resolve the dispute peacefully through dialogue and diplomatic channels, away from the language of confrontation and escalation.
