Dabaiba reviews political and security developments in the country with the EU High Representative

Tripoli, June 13, 2025 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, held a phone call on Thursday with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallas.

Our Government platform reported that during the phone call, they reviewed Libyan-European relations and political and security developments in the country.

The call also addressed ways to enhance joint cooperation on issues of mutual interest, most notably supporting stability and ensuring the success of the political process, as well as migration issues and regional coordination.

The two sides stressed the importance of continued communication and coordination, serving the interests of both parties and contributing to supporting peace and stability efforts in Libya and the region.
