Tripoli Security Director meets with Abu Salim Municipality Mayor.

Tripoli, June 10, 2025 (LANA) – Tripoli Security Director Major General Khalil Wahba held an expanded meeting on Wednesday with the Mayor of Abu Salim Municipality and members of the Municipal Council. This meeting is part of coordination meetings to unify efforts between security and service agencies.
The meeting discussed mechanisms to enhance cooperation between the Security Directorate and the Municipal Council, which will contribute to improving the efficiency of security work and achieving stability in the region.
The importance of receiving citizen complaints at police stations and ensuring they are addressed in a manner that reflects community confidence in the security institution was also addressed.
The meeting was attended by Major General Ali Sahboun, Head of the Police Stations Affairs Department, and the Head of the Relations Office, along with the heads of the Abu Salim, Al-Hadhba, and Airport Road police stations, as well as the security delegate from the Abu Salim Municipality.
This meeting is part of the Tripoli Security Directorate's strategy to improve overall security performance and ensure community security.
