Tripoli, June 8, 2025 (LANA) - The Public Prosecution ordered the detention of four suspects in the murder of Murad Mansour Al-Warfali, pending investigation.

The Public Prosecutor's Office stated on its official Facebook page that the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Benghazi Court of Appeal had filed a public lawsuit regarding the murder of Murad Mansour Al-Warfali. The competent public prosecutor inspected the scene of the incident, reviewed the injuries that led to the victim's death, and requested an autopsy report to determine the circumstances.

The Public Prosecutor's Office indicated that the Public Prosecution had received the preliminary procedures conducted by the Criminal Investigation Bureau and interrogated four suspects in the incident, documenting their statements and defense.

It confirmed that the Public Prosecutor had issued a decision, based on preliminary evidence, to detain them pending investigation. The investigations continue, including hearing witness statements, to complete the case.
