Tripoli, June 6, 2025 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, has assigned the commander of the Western Coast Military Region to open an immediate and comprehensive investigation into the circumstances of the clashes that took place in the city of Sabratha during the early hours of Friday morning, the first day of Eid Al-Adha.

The Prime Minister's media office added in a press statement: "This assignment is a continuation of previous instructions issued yesterday, which included immediate intervention to stop the conflict and secure the city."

The Prime Minister stressed that these events are being closely monitored, and that no party or group will be allowed to threaten security or destabilize any Libyan city, affirming that the law will be applied without exception.
