Tripoli, June 4, 2025 (LANA) – Chairman of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Mohamed Al-Menfi, discussed with the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Haddad, the work of the committee assigned by the Presidential Council to consolidate the ceasefire and activate security arrangements in the capital.

During the meeting, held today, Wednesday, Al-Menfi reiterated his demand to the Chief of General Staff to restore security, achieve stability, and peace in the capital, Tripoli, and work to maintain the ceasefire.

The meeting was attended by the Chief of Operations, Major General Hussein Abdullah, and the Security Advisor to the Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Eid Al-Basit Al-Sharia.
