Tripoli, May 28, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity discussed with Doctors Without Borders (MSF) joint cooperation to support and improve the level of healthcare provided to migrant shelters.

This came during a meeting held today, Wednesday, by the Director of the Office of the Minister of Interior, Major General Abdul Wahid Abdul Samad, with the head of the organization's office in Libya, in the presence of the head of the Ministry's Organizations Department.

The two sides emphasized the importance of coordination with the Ministry of Health in the medical and pharmaceutical fields, ensuring the unification of efforts between national institutions and relevant international organizations to achieve an effective response to the humanitarian and health needs of migrants.
