GNU continues its security plan to secure Tripoli.

Tripoli, 27 May 2025 (Lana) The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity (GNU) continues to implement its comprehensive security plan to secure Tripoli within the framework of the duties assigned to the security services and in implementation of the security arrangements resulting from the ceasefire agreement.
The ministry confirmed, on its official page yesterday, that the Law Enforcement Department of the General Directorate of Security Operations continues to perform its security duties within its scope of responsibility by conducting 24-hour patrols in areas of contact, with the aim of maintaining public security and enhancing citizens' safety.
In the same context, the General Directorate of Central Support continues to implement the joint security plan to secure Tripoli through extensive field deployment and the operation of security patrols that carry out their assigned tasks, contributing to enhancing security stability and spreading reassurance among citizens.
These efforts came within the ministry's commitment to enforcing the rule of law, ensuring the safety of citizens and property, and responding effectively to any potential security threats.
