Reopening and reactivating the Consulate General of the Republic of Tunisia in Benghazi

Benghazi, May 25, 2025 (LANA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the parliament-appointed government announced the reopening and reactivation of the Tunisian Consulate in Benghazi.

The Tunisian delegation participating in the opening ceremony included Acting Consul General Mohamed Bakkar and a number of Tunisian Consulate employees, in addition to officials from several departments and divisions within the ministry.

The reopening of the Tunisian Consulate in Benghazi supports joint consular work and facilitates procedures for Libyan and Tunisian citizens, contributing to strengthening cooperation and consolidating bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
