Dbaiba receives an Amazigh delegation.

Tripoli, May 25, 2025 (LANA) - Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, received a delegation of Amazigh notables and sheikhs today, Sunday, at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, to discuss a number of political, service, and social issues.
Dbaiba welcomed the Amazigh delegation, praising their national role in preserving Libya's social fabric. He also emphasized Libya's unity, security, and stability, and supported the process of state-building, according to the Our Government platform.
The Prime Minister emphasized that cultural and linguistic diversity is a source of strength and wealth for Libyan society, calling for the need to protect the rights of all components and ensure their active participation in state-building.
Dbaiba added that the government is paying great attention to achieving social justice that guarantees the rights of all Libyans.
For their part, the Amazigh sheikhs and dignitaries reviewed a number of issues of concern to their regions, most notably issues related to services, the activation of local administrations, and the strengthening of representation in state institutions. They reiterated their support for the government's efforts to establish security and promote stability and peace, emphasizing their commitment to being true partners in building a unified Libya.
