Power outage in Zella.

Zella, May 25, 2025 (LANA) - The Zella Municipal Council announced, that two towers at the 66th substation supplying the area collapsed last night due to strong dust storms that hit Zella, resulting in a power outage in all residential neighborhoods.

The council explained in a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Saturday evening, that teams from the electricity company, in cooperation with a number of citizens, are making intensive efforts to find urgent solutions to restore power as soon as possible.

The council indicated that work is underway to assess the damage and take the necessary steps to maintain the damaged towers, calling on residents to be patient and cooperate with the relevant authorities until service is restored.
