Benghazi – May 24, 2025 (LANA) – The Legislative and Constitutional Committee of the House of Representatives organized a workshop on Saturday to discuss the draft National Security Agency law at the Council's headquarters in Benghazi.
The workshop was attended by the Committee Chairman, Ramadan Shambash, along with a number of members of the House of Representatives, including Representative Ali Al-Takbali and Representative Ibrahim Al-Zaghid, in addition to a group of experts and specialists in the field.
During the workshop, the draft law was reviewed and discussed. Participants addressed its most prominent provisions and content, and presented a number of observations and proposals aimed at enhancing the agency's effectiveness in protecting national security in accordance with legal and constitutional principles.
This workshop comes within the framework of the Council's Legislative and Constitutional Committee's commitment to developing effective legislation that keeps pace with current requirements and contributes to supporting stability and strengthening national sovereignty.
