Tripoli, May 24, 2025 (LANA) - Head of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, expressed what he described as his pride in the civilized national scene presented by our people in the capital, by reasserting the right to peaceful expression and responsibly expressing their aspirations.

This came in a series of tweets he posted Friday night - Saturday on his account on X, following the demonstration held in Martyrs' Square in downtown Tripoli, which called for the overthrow of political bodies and the holding of urgent elections.

Al-Menfi said, "We highly value the role of the security institutions in protecting this right, and the focus has always been on listening to the people's opinions by all means to achieve positive change." He called on all Libyans to continue their peaceful and respectful expression in various cities, in order to build a modern state that expresses everyone's hopes.
