Dbaiba Follows Up with the Minister of Justice to Strengthen the Rule of Law.

Tripoli, May 22, 2025 (LANA) – The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, met today, Thursday, with the Minister of Justice, Halima Ibrahim, to follow up on the government's efforts to strengthen the rule of law and support justice and human rights in the country.

Dbaiba stressed, during the meeting, according to his media office, the importance of taking clear and coordinated steps to support the government's plan to establish security from a legal perspective and address challenges related to human rights violations. He emphasized the need to activate the role of judicial institutions to ensure justice and protect public rights and freedoms.

For her part, the Minister of Justice reviewed the latest developments related to the ministry's work, the progress made in judicial reform, enhancing transparency and accountability, and efforts to document legal and human rights violations, in coordination with relevant authorities.
