Tripoli, May 21, 2025 (LANA) - Yesterday, Tuesday, at the Prime Minister's Office, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbaiba discussed a number of national and local issues with a delegation of youth and activists from Misrata. These issues included the issue of the "disappeared" in the capital, Tripoli, according to the government's media office.
The media office stated that during the meeting, the delegation members renewed their full support for the Government of National Unity, affirming their commitment to the country's stability and their rejection of attempts to divide or tamper with the state's progress. They called for urgent action to uncover the fate of their forcibly disappeared children in Tripoli, and the need to provide justice for their families and put an end to this phenomenon.
The Prime Minister's Office explained that he expressed his appreciation for the stance of Misrata's youth and activists, stressing that the government will not hesitate to take the necessary steps to address this humanitarian and national issue, work to uncover the facts, and hold those involved accountable in accordance with the law. He also emphasized the importance of concerted efforts to achieve justice and guarantee citizens' rights.
