Brussels, May 21, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met with the Maltese Foreign Minister on the sidelines of the third ministerial meeting of the African Union and the European Union, held today, Wednesday, in Brussels.

During the meeting, ways to develop Libyan-Maltese relations were discussed for the benefit of both countries.

Taher Al-Baour represented Libya at this meeting, delivering a speech on the item "Defining and Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Peace, Security, and Governance," stressing the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts to confront common challenges.
