Tripoli, May 18, 2025 (LANA) - The US Embassy in Libya welcomed the formation of the Tripoli Truce Committee under the leadership of the Presidential Council and the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.
In a post on its Twitter account, the embassy urged all parties to prevent violence, support a permanent ceasefire, and ensure the protection of civilians. It called on everyone to work together to establish permanent security arrangements in the capital, Tripoli.
