Interior Ministry confirms the availability of fuel and gas.

Tripoli, May 18, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity confirmed the availability of fuel and gas in sufficient quantities, noting that the Crisis Committee is continuously monitoring distribution operations to ensure their delivery to all stations in various regions.

This came during a meeting dedicated to discussing ways to secure gas and gasoline tankers and ensure the regular flow of supplies. The meeting was attended by members of the Fuel and Gas Crisis Committee, the Director of Tripoli Port, the Director of Ports Administration, and a number of Brega Oil Company representatives.

The meeting, held today, Sunday, at Tripoli Seaport, addressed coordination mechanisms between the relevant security and technical authorities, with the aim of providing the necessary protection for fuel tankers and expediting unloading and distribution operations, thus contributing to mitigating the severity of the crisis and ensuring the availability of fuel to citizens.
