The first Hajj pilgrimage flights depart from Misrata International Airport.

Misrata, May 16, 2025 (LANA) – The first group of pilgrims departed at dawn on Friday, the first of several scheduled flights from Misrata International Airport to King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, according to a post published by Misrata Airport on its official Facebook page.

This flight is the first in a series of flights designated to transport pilgrims from Misrata and neighboring cities. These flights will continue according to a pre-arranged schedule on board Afriqiyah Airways, as part of the arrangements implemented by the relevant authorities to ensure an organized and safe Hajj season.
