Dissolving the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency and the Special Operations Force.

Tripoli, May 13, 2025 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, issued a decision to establish a new department within the Ministry of Interior called the "General Department for Combating Illegal Migration." This department will have the same powers as the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency.

According to the decision issued today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister decided to dissolve the Anti-Illegal Migration Agency and transfer its powers to the newly established department in the previous article. All its fixed and movable assets, as well as all its security and administrative personnel, will be transferred to the Ministry of Interior.

The Prime Minister also decided to dissolve the Special Operations Force and transfer its fixed and movable assets, as well as its security and administrative personnel, to the Ministry of Interior.
