Ministry of Interior: Arrest of individuals involved in theft cases.

Tripoli, May 13, 2025 (LANA) – The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced today, Tuesday, that patrols from the Law Enforcement Department of the General Directorate of Security Operations were able to arrest a number of individuals involved in theft cases within the Abu Salim Municipality.

The Ministry explained, in a post on its official Facebook page, that the security operation resulted in the recovery of a number of vehicles that had been previously reported stolen. It noted that the necessary legal measures were taken against the perpetrators and they were referred to the competent authorities for further investigations and judicial proceedings.

The Ministry of Interior affirmed its continued commitment to carrying out its security duties with utmost resolve and pursuing those who violate the law, to preserve the security and safety of citizens and protect public and private property.
