In the presence of the Public Prosecution: The Deterrence Force announces the destruction of more than 30,000 narcotic pills.

Tripoli, May 11, 2025 (LANA) - The Deterrence Force for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime announced the destruction of quantities of hallucinogenic tablets and narcotic pills seized during the past period, in cooperation with law enforcement and judicial agencies.

The force stated on its official Facebook page that the quantity destroyed, estimated at more than 30,000 tablets, was attended by the Deputy Public Prosecutor at the Attorney General's Office and the team assigned by the force. It noted that the destruction process was carried out amid strict procedures that took into account the highest levels of safety and environmental requirements.

The Deterrence Force for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime also affirmed its continued fight against this scourge, which is spreading day after day and has become a gateway for illicit gain for many weak-willed individuals who only care about their own narrow interests.
