Tripoli, May 11, 2025 (LANA) - Chairman of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met Sunday evening in Tripoli with Qatari Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, who conveyed the greetings of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani.

During the meeting, they discussed developments in Libya and the political crisis. They emphasized the need to strengthen regional and international efforts to support the political process, end the division, and achieve stability.

Minister Al-Khulaifi reiterated his country's firm position in supporting Libya and its legitimate institutions, affirming Qatar's support for the Libyan people in all forums.

For his part, Al-Menfi praised Doha's active role in supporting peace, calling for continued coordination and consultation on issues of common interest.
