Presidential Council Member, Praises Qatar's Role in Supporting Stability in Libya

Tripoli, May 11, 2025 (LANA) – Presidential Council Member Abdullah Al-Lafi praised Qatar's positive stances and its role in supporting stability in Libya.

During his meeting with Qatari Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi in Tripoli on Sunday, Al-Lafi stressed the importance of continuing coordination and joint consultation on issues of mutual interest.

The meeting addressed developments in the political scene in Libya and the current crisis, emphasizing the importance of continuing regional and international efforts to support the political process and end the division.

The two sides also discussed the national reconciliation project, with Minister Al-Khulaifi expressing Qatar's full support for the efforts of the Presidential Council and Deputy Al-Lafi to ensure the success of this project.
