AIM deports (130) illegal Egyptian immigrants to their country.

Tripoli, May 11, 2025 (LANA) – The Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency (AIM) announced today, Sunday, the deportation of 130 illegal Egyptian immigrants to their country.

The agency explained in a statement that among those deported were 87 immigrants who were apprehended while attempting to cross by sea to Europe, in addition to 6 others who were referred by the Public Prosecution, while the rest were arrested during periodic security campaigns.

The statement indicated that the immigrants were deported from the city of Tobruk via the Amsaied land port, as part of the implementation of a security plan aimed at curbing the phenomenon of illegal immigration and the presence of random and illegal immigrants.
