Tripoli, May 10, 2025 (LANA) - The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has invited Libyan women to join the "Libyan Women's Platform," an open dialogue space aimed at exchanging views and perspectives on the challenges facing women in Libya and exploring possible solutions to enhance their active participation in various fields.

The mission emphasized that this platform is fully committed to respecting Libyan values ​​and culture, national principles, and local and international legislation related to women's rights. It noted that the goal of the initiative is to empower women to express their aspirations and enhance communication among them from different regions of Libya.

This step comes within the framework of the mission's ongoing support for women's rights, enhancing their role in building peace and reconciliation, and achieving sustainable development in Libya.
