Tripoli, May 9, 2025 (LANA) - The Minister of Youth in the Government of National Unity, Fathallah Al-Zani, stressed the importance of empowering local councils to perform their roles effectively, emphasizing the need to enhance coordination between them and relevant local authorities to ensure the provision of quality initiatives that contribute to youth support and development.

This came during his chairing of an expanded meeting of the Higher Committee for the Supervision of Local Youth Councils, which was held with the participation of representatives of the local councils in the municipalities of Al-Jufra, Brak Al-Shati, Zuwara, and Al-Mashashiya.

During the meeting, the Minister called for working to find practical solutions to the challenges facing local councils, with a focus on providing the necessary tools and capabilities to ensure the efficient and effective achievement of desired goals.

This meeting comes within the framework of the Ministry of Youth's strategic vision aimed at supporting youth work across all municipalities and providing opportunities for youth to actively participate in the development and construction process, affirming their pivotal role in shaping the nation's future.
