The Electricity Company announces the launch of a vital project to improve the grid in Tarhuna.

Tripoli, May 9, 2025 (LANA) – The General Electricity Company announced today, Friday, the commencement of work on the project to connect the new Sharsharah station (11/30 kV) to the Tarhuna civil station. This work involves laying underground cables extending an estimated 4 kilometers.

According to a post published by the company on its official Facebook page, this is a vital and long-awaited project. It is expected to contribute effectively to improving the level of electrical voltage and addressing the bottlenecks that the residents of the Sharsharah area have suffered from over the past years.

The project will also contribute to enhancing the stability of the electricity grid and raising the efficiency of services provided to citizens, which will positively impact the quality of public services in the region, according to the same source.
