Tripoli, May 9, 2025 (LANA) - The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has invited Libyan media students and professionals who wish to contribute to reducing the spread of misinformation and hate speech to register to receive information about the professional development opportunities offered by the Mission in this regard.

The Mission emphasized, in a post on its official platforms, that these initiatives aim to provide media professionals with modern tools and techniques to enhance professional journalism based on fact-checking and encourage constructive discourse based on respect for pluralism and human rights.

The Mission invited interested parties to register via the dedicated link to receive details of upcoming training programs and workshops aimed at building the capacity of Libyan media professionals and strengthening their role in supporting a transparent and responsible media environment.
