Recovery of 16 bodies of illegal migrants over the past two days from Misurata’s coast.

Misurata, 5 May 2025 (Lana): The Red Crescent Society Misurata Branch Body Recovery and Search Team recovered the bodies of 16 illegal migrants from the municipality's beaches over the past two days.

The society stated in a statement that the recovery teams are continuing extensive searches of the beaches within the Misurata municipality, based on instructions from the Public Prosecution and the Security Directorate, noting that search operations are still ongoing.
