Tripoli, April 30, 2025 (LANA) – The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taher Al-Baour, discussed with the Palestinian Ambassador to Libya, Mohammed Rahal, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the Gaza Strip, in light of the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.

This came during a meeting held today, Wednesday, at the ministry's headquarters in Tripoli.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the meeting addressed the conditions of Palestinians residing in Libya and ways to facilitate their procedures and transactions, in implementation of the directives and decisions of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity.

During the meeting, Al-Baour affirmed Libya's firm and supportive position on the Palestinian cause, emphasizing Libya's support for the Palestinian people until they achieve their legitimate rights, foremost among which is the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
