Tripoli, April 30, 2025 (LANA) – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya (SRSG), Hannah Tetteh, discussed with the Chairman of the High National Elections Commission, Imad Al-Sayeh, the ongoing preparations for the second phase of the municipal elections.

The UN mission reported on its Facebook page that Tetteh emphasized the importance of these elections during the meeting, noting that they are an important step in strengthening democratic governance throughout the country, starting at the municipal level.
