Tripoli, April 30, 2025 (LANA) - Minister of Oil and Gas Khalifa Rajab Abdul Sadiq and Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation Ali Al-Abed discussed coordinating efforts to address employment challenges in the oil sector.

The meeting discussed the employment situation in the oil and gas sector and ways to improve the integration of new workforces, ensuring alignment with the sector's needs and reducing the phenomenon of job duplication between the public and private sectors.

During the meeting, the two ministers stressed the importance of joint coordination to establish an effective national mechanism to address employment-related challenges, ensure a fair distribution of opportunities, and enhance the efficiency of human resources to serve sustainable development in Libya.
