Rome, April 29, 2025 (LANA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that his country will continue to work with Italy to preserve Libya's stability and prosperity.
According to the official Turkish Anadolu Agency, Erdoğan said in a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Tuesday in Rome that Turkey and Italy will continue to work together to find long-term and sustainable solutions to preserve Libya's stability and prosperity.
Meloni, in turn, affirmed Italy's support for reconstruction efforts and lasting peace in Gaza, Syria, and Libya.
Earlier on Tuesday, the fourth Italian-Turkish government summit kicked off in Rome, co-chaired by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
