Duty-free shop opens in Meatiga International Airport's international arrivals hall.

Tripoli, April 29, 2025 (LANA) – A new duty-free shop opened today, Tuesday, in the international arrivals hall of Meatiga International Airport in Tripoli. This step is part of efforts to develop the airport and provide distinguished services.
The Airports Authority of the Ministry of Transport stated on its official Facebook page that the shop features a variety of products, including distinctive local products and international brands, providing travelers with a variety of options and competitive prices.
The Authority explained that the opening ceremony was attended by Meatiga Airport Director Ibrahim Farkash, a number of airport department directors, airline representatives, and officials from several service providers and entities involved in airport operations.
The Authority confirmed that work is underway at Meatiga Airport to open the duty-free shop in the international departure hall, where maintenance and development work has been completed in recent days. This will enable travelers to visit the area in the coming days.
