Tripoli, 29 April 2025 (Lana): Head of the Audit Bureau Khaled Shakshak discussed with the Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Güven Begeç, the current economic and financial situation in Libya and the projects implemented by Turkish companies in the country.
During the meeting, held in Tripoli, the two sides reviewed several areas of joint cooperation between the Audit Bureau and the Turkish Court of Accounts, particularly the agreement signed between the two sides in 2020, which aims to exchange expertise and enhance training and institutional development.
The importance of the Bureau's role and independence in examining and reviewing public contracts was emphasized, ensuring the highest levels of oversight and protection of public funds.
