Law Enforcement Department continues its intensive security duties to combat smuggling through the Ras Ajdir port.

Tripoli, 29 April 2025 (Lana) Law Enforcement Department's patrols at the General Directorate of Operations continue their intensive security duties to combat smuggling through the Ras Ijdir land port.

During inspection operations, the patrols seized several vehicles loaded with illegal fuel tanks, in addition to quantities of goods and materials intended for smuggling into Tunisia.

The department stated on its official page that all necessary legal measures were taken regarding the seized items and that they were referred to the competent authorities for further legal action.

The department affirmed its continued commitment to carrying out its duties with utmost resolve, working in coordination with various security agencies to ensure security control and limit all illegal activities that threaten the country's security and stability.
