Tripoli, April 28, 2025 (LANA) - US Special Envoy to Libya, Ambassador Richard Norland, denied the authenticity of a circulating audio recording attributed to Mas'ad Bloss, advisor to US President Donald Trump, in which he speaks about the US administration's rejection of all candidates to head the next Libyan government.
Norland said in a tweet on the X platform, "This audio recording is fabricated. The Libyan people should not be deceived by such malicious attempts to attribute false statements to US government officials."
