The Administrative Control Authority submits its annual report to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya.

Tripoli, April 28, 2025 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbouh, submitted the Authority's fifty-third annual report for 2023 to the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Naji Mohammed Issa, on Monday.

This came during an official meeting held at the bank's headquarters, attended by a number of department and office directors from both sides.

The report included important financial and administrative statistics and data, in addition to oversight observations on the performance of state institutions, an assessment of the general economic situation, and a review of macroeconomic indicators.

The meeting witnessed an exchange of views on the bank's vision for emerging from the economic crisis, a discussion of the proposed economic reform package, and ways of institutional coordination between the two sides.

The Governor emphasized the importance of the Administrative Control Authority's role in monitoring the implementation of public policies, praising its cooperation in supporting the bank's efforts to enhance monetary and financial stability.

For his part, the Chairman of the Authority affirmed the institution's readiness to provide full support to the bank in implementing its reform vision, ensuring improved quality of basic services for citizens.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties agreed to form a joint working group to implement the recommendations and outcomes, and affirmed the two institutions' commitment to effective cooperation to achieve national economic goals.
