Tripoli 28 April 2025 (Lana) Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, met today, in Tripoli, with a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in the presence of the Russian Ambassador to Libya.

During the meeting, ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in various areas were discussed, to achieve common interests and enhance existing cooperation between Tripoli and Moscow, according to the Ministry's media office.

The two sides also discussed prospects for developing the partnership to contribute to supporting stability and development in Libya.

The two parties stressed the importance of continuing political coordination and consultation, and exchanging views on regional and international issues of common interest, in a way that strengthens friendly relations and serves international peace and security.
