Cairo, April 24, 2025 (LANA) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi reviewed the latest security and political developments in Libya during his meeting today in Cairo with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani.

Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy said that President El-Sisi reiterated Egypt's commitment to Libya's stability, protecting the resources of its people, and preserving its unity, stressing the importance of resolving all political differences through peaceful means to achieve stability in the country.

For his part, the Italian Foreign Minister praised Egypt's efforts to restore regional stability, stressing his country's keenness to consult and coordinate continuously with Egypt in this regard.
