Law Enforcement Department: New methods of smuggling goods through Ras Ajdir land port have been detected.

Ras Ajdir, 22 April 2025 (Lana) Law Enforcement Department personnel detected, yesterday, new methods for smuggling goods through the Ras Ajdir land port.

The department stated on its official page that one of the methods used by smugglers to illegally bring in or out goods through Ras Ijdir was documented yesterday, following the discovery of an innovative method used by smugglers, where the contraband is hidden inside vehicle frames or tires or in designated spaces prepared in advance for this purpose within the vehicle, making it difficult to detect through regular inspection procedures.

The department affirmed that it will not tolerate those who violate the law and will continue its efforts to combat all forms of smuggling, to maintain security and stability, and to support the national economy.
