Tripoli, April 21, 2025 (LANA) – The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Public Affairs, Major General Mahmoud Saeed, discussed with the Internal Security Attaché at the French Embassy in Libya, Eric Darbouis, ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two countries' Ministries of Interior.

During a meeting held in Tripoli today, Monday, the two sides discussed enhancing cooperation in the fields of combating illegal immigration, antiquities and drug smuggling, protecting personalities, and cybercrime. They also discussed exchanging security information and expertise and organizing specialized training courses to enhance the efficiency of police personnel, particularly in the field of judicial investigations.

The two sides also stressed the importance of coordination with the relevant agencies to hold periodic meetings between the two sides to follow up on common security challenges.
