Tripoli, 20 April 2025 (Lana): Border Guard patrols handed over yesterday (58) illegal migrants of African nationalities (Niger and Chad) to the migrant shelter in the Al-Assa area.

The Law Enforcement Department stated on its official page that the migrants were arrested in a number of locations, including the valleys of "Souf Al-Jin," "Nisma," and "Wadi Marsit," in addition to several other locations, while the patrols were carrying out their duties within the scope of the Joint Security Room.

The Department stated that this operation comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts by the Joint Security Room to combat illegal migration and enhance security and stability in the region.
