Tripoli, April 14, 2025 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, met Monday evening with the Mauritanian Ambassador to Libya, Mohamed Babana, on the occasion of the end of his diplomatic tenure in the country.

At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Menfi expressed his great appreciation for the efforts made by the Mauritanian Ambassador throughout his tenure, stressing that his effective contributions had a significant impact on strengthening the bonds of joint cooperation and developing bilateral relations between Libya and Mauritania.

Al-Menfi also conveyed his special greetings and sincere wishes for success to Ambassador Babana, conveying his greetings to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, and his appreciation for Mauritania's supportive stances towards Libya's stability.
