Tripoli, April 14, 2025 (LANA) – President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, discussed on Monday with the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Libya, Khaled Al-Dosari, strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed the latest developments in the Libyan political scene, the challenges facing the political process, and ways to overcome the transitional phases through consensual solutions that support security and stability.

The Presidential Council's media office reported that during the meeting, the importance of supporting the efforts of the United Nations mission to reach a political settlement that meets the aspirations of the Libyan people was emphasized.

According to the office, Ambassador Al-Dosari affirmed the State of Qatar's continued support for Libya through diplomatic mediation, which will consolidate the foundations of a stable state moving steadily towards the future.
