The European Union Ambassador to Libya renews the Union's support for Libyan institutions.

Tripoli, April 13, 2025 (LANA) – The European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, confirmed in a tweet on the X platform on Sunday the European Union's support for Libyan institutions at the central and local levels to improve governance, empower youth, strengthen the rule of law, and support business and investment through reforms, including in Libya's energy sector.

Orlando said, "Today, we presented to the Minister of Planning, Mohamed Al-Zaidani, the European Union's priorities for our partnership with Libya for the period 2025-2027." He explained that the urgent need to establish a unified, sustainable, and transparent framework for government spending across the country was discussed.

He added that the European Union stands ready to assist institutions in formulating a realistic and responsible framework to promote growth and support families and businesses.
