Tripoli, April 13, 2025 (LANA) - The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Taher Al-Baour, discussed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Trade of Malta, Ian Borg, ways to strengthen friendship and cooperation in various fields.

This came in a phone call between the Maltese Foreign Minister and Al-Baour, during which they affirmed the strong relations between the two friendly countries, which contribute to developing bilateral cooperation and achieving common interests.

The two sides also reviewed the path of Libyan-Maltese relations and the significant milestones of growth and development they have witnessed. They praised the progress achieved and affirmed both sides' keenness to advance these relations towards broader horizons of partnership and development, in a way that meets the aspirations of both peoples.

The call also addressed a range of regional and international issues of common interest, and views were exchanged within a framework of understanding and coordination.
