Tripoli, 9 April 2025 (Lana) Chadian President Mohammed Idriss Deby received a high-level delegation from the Government of National Unity (GNU) in the Chadian capital, N'Djamena, yesterday, headed by Minister of Transport Mohamed Shahboui, which also included Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Abdul-ssalam Zoubi.

The meeting discussed several issues of mutual interest, including  cooperation in the area of air transport and the activation of direct flights between the two countries, as well as enhancing trade and economic exchange to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples.

The two sides also discussed developing mechanisms for military and security cooperation, particularly with regard to securing the common border, combating organized crime, and irregular migration, which will contribute to supporting regional stability and protecting the national interests of both countries.
