Tripoli - April 8, 2025 (LANA) - The meeting held by the Chairman and CEO of the Libyan Investment Authority, Ali Mahmoud, with a number of Greek officials in the Greek capital, Athens, in the presence of the Libyan Ambassador to Greece, Hamad Bashir Al-Mabrouk, discussed joint cooperation between Libya and Greece in the field of renewable energy.

The Libyan Embassy in Athens stated on Tuesday that the meeting discussed ways of joint cooperation between the two countries in the field of renewable energy and investment in vital priority sectors, contributing to achieving sustainable development and expanding the horizons of economic cooperation between Libya and Greece.

It added, that this meeting comes within the context of the diplomatic and economic efforts exerted by the Libyan state to open up to European markets and take advantage of available investment opportunities within the framework of effective strategic partnerships.
